Did you fall in love with the Heart Bag trend?

When Chanel launched their Spring/Summer 2022 collection, fashionistas definitely took a second (and third and fourth!) look at the heart shaped bags that models carried down the runway . The Heart Bags featured quilted lambskin leather and came in Coral Pink, White and Black. The smaller Heart Clutch with Chain bags also featured quilted lambskin leather and came in Purple, White and Black (the purple is my favourite!). Now that the bags have launched in stores, we're seeing them on the streets and on YouTube videos. Of course, heart-shaped bags aren't a new phenomenon. Every so often, we'll see a new reiteration from designers who put their own twist and unique direction. Let's check out some of these heart-shaped bags. VINTAGE CHANEL In fact, Chanel first launched heart-shaped bags in quilted patent leather back in the 1990s. The now-vintage bags had a chainlink top handle and came in black, beige and pink. KAT

Christmas Wish List 2016!

Happy holidays everyone! Hope everyone had a fabulous time, spending quality time with the people you love. I had a quiet time, and Christmas sort of jumped on me this year, since I was travelling a lot. Here's my Christmas wish list for this upcoming year! View my Christmas wish list for 2012 #1: A new laptop My current laptop (which I'm typing on at the moment) has a major crack in the middle, and the performance has deteriorated. Which is totally normal, considering that it's been with me for almost 3 years. I'm totally in love with The MacBook in Gold, but I think I'd probably honestly just get the 11-inch MacBook Air. The Macbook is just so gorgeous to look at, and incredibly light, but the fact that it doesn't have USB ports is a major drawback for me. I mean, I need to be able to use my hard drive, and I usually store work on thumbdrives so it just isn't a good fit. But it's so pretty... #2: 2016 Time Planner Time to get a new one! L

Za Dewy Moisturizer and Milky Moisturizer review

TLDR Review:  Buy the Dewy Moisturizer, it is my current holy grail. DON'T buy the Milky Moisturizer, I regretted it. My skin is oily/combination.  When Xiaxue posted an advertorial on the new pink skincare range that Za released, I thought the entire range was soo pretty I wanted them all. But back then I still had a huge stash of moisturizers I was trying to use up, so I resisted the temptation. In the end I finally got the Dewy Moisturizer... And I can't imagine life without it anymore. My skin has never been so good! The Milky Moisturizer on the other hand, was very very disappointing. Za has several moisturizers for different needs. The dewy moisturizer is for greasy skin and the milky moisturizer is for flaky and greasy skin. Not only that, Za also has the Deep Moist Cream and Amino Mineral Refreshing Gel. I stood at Watsons debating to myself because I had no idea which one to get! They're all a pretty shade of pink too, which is nice. I ended up getting t

Schwarzkopf Ultimate Colour 499 Dark Cherry review

TDLR Review:  I would not recommend this hair colour product at all, because the shade turned out nothing like the box. Also it is difficult to wash off.  NOTE: I have dark Asian hair, which might be the reason why it's not suitable for this product. So I'm back with another hair dye review! I've raved about the Liese hair dyes before ( Cassis Berry , Sweet Apricot , Antique Rose ), because those are super easy to use (I've appreciated that even more after finding out how difficult some at-home hair dye kits can be to apply). But I got suckered into getting a box of Schwarzkopf Ultimate Colour hair dye, because the models on Schwarzkopf hair dye boxes always have gorgeous shades of hair! I've used Schwarzkopf before, I've bought the Palette in Magical Blue Black (no review, only a haul). But I was disappointed with it, because there was only a faint sheen of blue, and the black faded from my hair quite quickly. The trouble with Schwarzkopf also is

Rachel K Youth Day Cream review

For those who don't know, Rachel K is a homegrown cosmetics and skincare company by Miss Universe Rachel Kum. Her products are currently on sale at most Watsons outlets. I have tried the famous CC cream, and it's not bad. Review coming along soon. But this post is dedicated to the Youth Day Cream, which contains something called PhytoCellTec which is a Swiss apple stem cell extract. The apple stem cells penetrate deep into the skin and allows your skin to renew itself. I received a sample of this cream, and I tried it out over several days. Unfortunately, I was not impressed by this. It's an oily product, and made my face very oily. Worse still, I did not think that it absorbs into my skin, so for the rest of the day I could literally feel a layer of this cream on my skin. Most day creams are very absorbent unlike the heavier night creams, but I felt that this product was not absorbent at all. The only good thing I can probably say about this is that it is ligh

Christmas Wish List

So how was everyone's Christmas! I had a nice quiet time at home, spending time with family. The end of the year is always the time when I look back and think of all I've accomplished and all that I hope to accomplish in the future. And even though I'm thankful for everything I have, I also do think about what I hope to get in the future. Here's my Christmas wish list of 2012, what's yours? #1. Chanel 2.55 The most classic, coveted bag in fashion. My favourite is lambskin, even though caviar is more hardy. And I love beige, but black is also such a great everyday option. Green might not be my first choice in an investment bag but I really like the colour and details on this Chanel carried by Kim Kardashian. #2. Lady Dior Yet another gorgeous classic, and even though it's not so coveted as the 2.55, I just love this bag too. Maybe partly because Marion Cotillard is the face of Dior, and I really admire her.  #3. Blazer  It's sup

Maybelline Baby Lips review

TLDR Review: BUY IT! So worth it! So these lip balms have been raved by so many YouTube beauty gurus that I couldn't resist trying them out. These, along with EOS lip balms are constantly being raved about by beauty gurus. And I'm so glad I bought them! Packaging in the US. Packaging in Singapore. They come in pretty transparent tops in the US but here in Singapore they've just got simple colored tops. I don't really like them because they're hard to grasp when my hands are oily. I've never bought the clear caps before, but if you have, let me know how they're like! What I love about Baby Lips is how it glides on smoothly, and I love that it doesn't leave a waxy feeling. All of them have nice different flavors and smells, so you should probably check out the testers before you buy one. I bought the purple and yellow one (Mango Pie, I love mango), the light pink and blue one (Anti-Oxidant Berry) and the red and orange one (Cherry Velvet). If y
